The web development process begins with Discovery & Content Collection

Here we delve into the clients purpose and the short and long-term goals of the website, determine who are the viewers, and gather all the materials (text, photos, logos, any other pertinent data). A time line will determined and a contract drawn up.

Structrual / Organization Stage
Once all the materials are collected and an overall look/feel determined, we begin architecting the site and individual page building.

Infrastructure
Hosting services can be priced and chosen at this time, as well as assessing database and programming needs. Chips & Ink provides a wealth of expertise in technical implementations for sites that require multimedia or back-end data access.

Visual Prototype Stage
Site templates and sample pages are built, polished and presented before constructing the remainder of the site.

Delivery Stage
Phase 1: A completed site to presented for client copy edit.

Phase 2: The completed site uploaded to provider.

Maintenance and Quality Assurance
Depending on technical expertise and staffing requirements, Chips & Ink offers training enabling an organization can take over maintenance of their own site, or we can maintain the site on a forward-going basis with the client providing material to us.
